My favourite Teacher

My favourite teacher is Mr. Pubudu Sandaruwan. He is a Sinhala teacher who has played a very special role in my life. I met him during my Ordinary Level studies, and from that moment, he became not only a teacher but also a great guide to me.

He is a very kind, caring, and dedicated teacher. He always teaches with patience and makes sure that every student understands the lesson clearly. His teaching style is simple yet effective, which helped me to improve my Sinhala knowledge greatly.

Because of his guidance and support, I was able to achieve an “A” pass for Sinhala in my Ordinary Level examination. I truly believe that without him, I would not have reached that success.


Not only did he teach Sinhala as a subject, but he also taught me many valuable life lessons. He always encouraged me to believe in myself, work hard, and never give up. His words and advice have shaped my thinking and helped me become a better person.

He is also very friendly and understanding. He treats his students with love and respect, and that makes him very special. His good qualities, such as kindness, patience, and dedication, make him an unforgettable teacher in my life.

I feel very lucky to have met a teacher like him. I don’t think I will ever find another teacher as loving and inspiring as him. I truly love and respect my teacher very much.

My Family

 The most valuable thing in my life is my family. My family consists of my mother, my father, and my two elder sisters. The five of us lived very happily together since my childhood. My family is very fun-loving and full of joy. Speaking about my mother, her name is L.D. Nirosha Sajeewani, and she is 56 years old. She works as a preschool teacher and is a very loving and caring mother to me. When I talk about my father, it is very emotional for me. When I was 10 years old, my father passed away due to a sudden accident. Because of that, whenever I remember the bond I had with him, I feel an indescribable sadness. A best friend is someone who always stays by your side in both happy and difficult times, and Thilina is exactly that kind of person. Thilina is a very kind, honest, and helpful person. He always supports me whenever I face problems and encourages me to do my best in everything. One of his best qualities is his positive attitude.
